In 1995, Gilles and Marie Helene decided to change their lives, that’s why they renovated the family's farm to develop a “gîte” . This 400m² gite includes 12 bedrooms, and can accommodate 35 people. “

WELCOME IN THE GITE

GROUND FLOOR –

1 dinning room recounting the farm story + 1 living room with a fireplace.
1 bedroom for 2 people with a bathroom (WC, shower, washbasin) fully fitted for a disabled person or with a wheelchair (direct access to the dinning room)
1 terrace where meals are served when the weather is good.



FIRST FLOOR

 

9 bedrooms with private bathroom (Shower, WC, washbasin),
3 bedrooms for 2, 2 bedrooms for 3 and 4 rooms for 4 people
2 twin rooms (1 for 2 people, and the other one for 3) with a shared-bathroom. This concept is specially adapted for a family or friends.
1 relaxation room (35m²) with a panoramic view on the Valley and the mountains surrounding.
In the room you can find a TV, books, toys …




OUTSIDE :
2 terraces, 1 balcony, 1 garden with an animal park (goats, donkeys) and a pond (frogs, fish)

OUR SERVICES :

Gilles and Marie Helene are 2 authentic Savoyards and will make you discover their own region, its past, its now (not yet its future!!) its traditions, its language… In the kitchen, Gilles will cook the local food and Marie Helene will help you composing your itineraries based on your interests.

You will also have access to a private parking, and a storage room for your equipments.

The Gîte in the "Pays Rochois" campaign is located LESS THAN AN HOUR FROM ALL THE ATTRACTIONS, CULTURAL, SPORTS and COMMERCIAL CENTERS OF HAUTE SAVOIE

- lakes (Annecy, Geneva)
- mountains (salève,, Aravis, Mont Blanc)
- ski stations (La Clusaz, le Grand Bornand, Grand Massif,
- neighboring countries (Switzerland, Italy)
- Exhibitions, fairs, museums (La Roche sur Foron, Bonneville, Annecy, Geneva)

ACTIVITIES : On the spot, whatever the season


You can : do nothing! Only enjoy the terrace, and watch the view. : the campaign, the sunrise between Môle and the Mont Blanc, the mountains surrounding under the sunset, the thousand lights of the Vallée de l'Arve….
You can pat the animals (donkey, goat), play French bowls, go fishing … Children may enjoy the space surrounding to play outdoor activities.
You can also walk, discover the village of Amancy, (its renovated castle) or Cornier (its watermill, its rectory).
You are next to La Roche sur Foron, and with or without guide, you can visit this 11th century city nicely restored.
This city is located 1,5km from the Gîte and is highly dynamic with shops, market, cinema, swimming pool, tennis courts, library, skate track, exhibitions, fairs….

You can also in moving to less than 15 km

In summer


- Horse riding at La Chapelle Rambaud or Arbusigny,
- Hiking in the Aravis,
- Cycling in on small country roads to start and then try to ascent the pass of the Tour de France (La Colombière, Aravis, Morzine)
- Mountain biking…
- attend outside concerts or pastoral festivals
In Winter :



You can start skiing in small resorts like Orange or Montpiton, and then go to the resorts of the Grand Massif or the Aravis,
-You can practice cross country skiing, and walk with snowshoes in Orange or the historical place of Les Glières.
But you can also visit museum in Annecy, Geneva or go swimming in the pool in Annemasse,
